Tour the Bus

Our Skoolie

Specs at a glance

The term the wheels on the bus go ‘round and round’  takes on a whole new meaning when the bus is your home.

We bought our retired school bus in September of 2020 and without any bus conversion “know how” we started working towards living a life that inspires us. We dove right into the process of transforming our bus into our dream home on wheels. We spent hours researching, YouTubing, reaching out to fellow skoolie builders, and trusting the help of our skilled friends to help us through this incredibly challenging endeavor. So much planning goes into every detail when you’re going to live full time in a bus. With the small space comes restrictions, but also the chance to be creative. We knew we wanted to build a space that was functional, fun AND aesthetically pleasing.

Our path from bus to home has  been paved with dust, sweat, tears, doubts, and so many hugs and victories. All a part of the process of building a home on wheels.

In September 2021, a year to the day of buying our bus, we moved our family of 4, plus our dog, into the skoolie! We now travel all across the Country living in our converted school bus full time!  We love living and traveling in our tiny home on wheels.

We are living the phrase, “Home is wherever you park it” and are excited to have you here with us on this adventure!

We hope the photos below can help inspire you in your bus building process.
