The world’s longest slot canyon!

Buckskin Gulch is the longest and deepest slot canyon in the world stretching about 16 miles. A day hike option via Wire Pass Trail is moderately easy, and try get there early to beat the crowds.

Safety tip: Always check the weather forecast and upstream conditions before entering any slot canyon.
Flash floods can strike even on sunny days.

We finally made it to The Subway!

After two years of “maybe next time,” we were not missing this window. The hike in is no joke (route-finding, river crossings, the whole thing), but when we first saw the iconic subway, it made every rejected permit application worth it.

No passport required, but you might need sea legs and a tolerance for unpredictable ocean crossings.

We kayaked through sea caves, hiked cliffs with insane views, and shared lunch with some very entitled foxes.
10/10 would recommend if you’re into remote islands, rugged landscapes, and questioning your life choices mid-ferry ride (ask me how I know this one).
